Posted November 9, 2023 Counties making capital outlays for planning, construction, improvement and/or repair of individual schools used for instructional and related purposes, or for the purchase of land for such facilities, may be eligible for reimbursement from the Public School Building Capital Fund (Expiration 1 year from date of expenditure). Equipment expenditures pursuant to a pre-approved local school technology plan may also qualify for distributions from the fund (G.S. 115C-546.2(b)). Interested counties and/or LEAs can request reimbursement from an ADM Fund (calculated with Average Daily Membership), or the state’s Lottery Fund, based on a comparison of these funds’ relative characteristics.
