Purpose

The Cybersecurity Education and Workforce Development Program seeks to build regional alliances and multistakeholder partnerships (RAMPs) among schools, institutions of higher education, and employers experiencing skill shortages in local industries.  The community-based partnerships will develop career pathways that meet employment needs for specific cybersecurity occupations in the geographic area.  Funding is distributed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) within the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE).
