Purpose

For Fiscal Year 2027, the Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration is awarding discretionary grants to Regional Nutrition Hubs (RNH) that will provide region-specific technical assistance (TA) on expanding high-quality nutrition services to Health Center Program (H80) award recipients and other health centers.  Nutrition services prevent, manage, and treat diseases and conditions through nutritional and food-based interventions. 

Eligible Entities

The following types of organizations are eligible to apply for the grant:

• • • Independent school districts
    • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
    • Private institutions of higher education
    • County, city or township governments
    • Special district governments
    • Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
    • Native American tribal governments (with or without federal recognition)
    • For profit organizations, including small businesses
    • Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
